How did the idea for brand come about?
I always loved bold, edgy style jewelry but I could never find the jewelry that I liked that was light weight. The earrings I used to wear were bold but they were so heavy and it stretched out my earring piercing so I knew I wanted to make and sell earrings that could give the same reaction of being retro and dope but be light weight on the ears at the same time.
What is the meaning behind the name?
The meaning behind the name is a dress code basically. To get in certain places sometimes they have to have a dress code or they won’t let you in. I got the word code and knew I wanted to make retro/ edgy style jewelry pieces so I took edgy made it edge and put it together to make code edge. Edgy/retro is the dress code pretty much.
